It is important to emphasize that this is our group! But we have the added bonus of support and resources from the national organization. …

We have a regular group that goes out hiking on Thursday mornings after sharing a hearty breakfast. We also sponsor bird watching and other bird support activities when the birds allow. We are approaching our 400th M …

Quiet Spaces is a group for those who have a fine appreciation for places that promote serenity or are inherently quiet. The group will explore these quiet spaces and share new ones with each other. From my perspective, it is these places which develop wholeness of mind and heart. They give us the chance to feel our most dignified and noble and open ourselves to appreciate that in others. So the social aspect of the group should also reflect conversation that promotes quietness of mind. To prote …

We share and practice the skills that our ancestors used to survive in the world, a kind of ‘primitive technology’ that allowed them to live in balance and harmony with their environment, rather than dominate it. Many of our members have taken courses taught by Tom Brown, Jr. and the Tra …
